The Get Stung ep was recorded by John over February and March of 2021. John Crouch recorded the drums and the songs were mixed by Nick Petersen. This three-song ep is a much more raw approach than Kick Out The Hives. John said he’s “chasing a sound in his head” and feels this is one step closer to obtaining that goal. The first song, NPD is an intense look at mirrored self. Track 2, Idol Hands, takes a deep-dive into the Dunning-Kruger effect and Imposter takes you on sonic ride through getting it all figured out.
